Take up a hobby: gardening, model trains, needlepoint, play an instrument, etc.
Adopt a pet
Reminisce: life review will help you recall aspects of life and living that matter to you
Home visitation: area agency on aging or place of worship
Make friends: make the effort to meet new people: education classes, travel, health clubs, etc.
