How to make time for exercising on a busy schedule l Fit Therapy of Texas

One of the most common excuses people give for not working out regularly is that they "don't have time."

Today we are going to give you 3 ways to help get past this excuse and get your body moving!

1.Make Fitness a top priority

We make time for the things that are important to us. We make time for our spouses; we make time for our friends. Well, it is time to start making time for YOU! Fitness and health are the best investments of time you can make for yourself because you only get one body, so it's best you take care of it. Making fitness a priority might mean sacrifice. Maybe you will set your alarm for 5:30 instead of 6:30 to get to the gym before work. Maybe it means pushing a lunch date with friends to the weekend in order to get some exercise in on your lunch break. Remember to remind yourself that this is an INVESTMENT of time towards your overall well-being and your future. No matter how you decide to navigate it, it is absolutely NECESSARY that we see the importance of health and fitness and make regular exercise a priority in our lives. 2.Start small

Adding exercise into your day-to-day routine does not have to mean carving out 1-2 hours of time every single day in order to go to the gym. Research has shown that adding just 30 MINUTES of exercise per day can DRASTICALLY improve your life. 30 minutes of exercise daily, when done consistently, has been proven to increase energy, boost the immune system, boost circulation throughout the body, improve strength and endurance, and increase endorphin production which will help the body work more efficiently. 30 minutes is only 2% of your day. This amount of time will not disrupt your life in a drastic way AT ALL. So, really, when it comes to time, there is no excuse. Start small, carve out 30 minutes of time per day, and watch your body (and life) begin to transform for the better.

3. Hire a Personal Trainer

It is easy to make excuses when there is no one keeping you accountable. It is ALSO easy to make excuses when you are not financially invested in the process and the outcome. This is why you should hire a personal trainer if you are having difficulty adding exercise into your already-busy life routine. A personal trainer is a certified fitness professional whose job is to help you find the time, prioritize exercise, and make your workouts both EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT, thus making it even more worth it to add exercise into your life's schedule. When you hire a personal trainer, you are hiring an accountability partner, a workout programmer, and sometimes even a nutritionist all in one. This means that they can make the MOST out of your 30 minutes of time, whether that be virtually so you can workout in your own home, or 1:1 in person training in a gym! No matter your need, a personal trainer will be able to negate and concerns or excuses you may have when it comes to fitness, and they will help you be well on your way to a happier and healthier you! There you have it.

Three solid ways to work AROUND your excuse of being too busy to work out, and 3 ways to help YOU jumpstart your journey to a healthier you. So, remember why you have decided to make the change, make that change a priority in your life, start small, and feel free to hire a professional to help. You will see the positive changes in no time.
